LUSC Vice President- Stix Lockwood

Stix Lockwood's service to Leeds United Football Club began when he was just eight years old and spans sixty-five years, thirty-nine managers (who have included Don Revie, Howard Wilkinson OBE and most-recently, Marcelo Bielsa) and countless players and owners.  From 20+ years as First Team Players Liaison Officer, to his work at all levels in the community, with the Armed Forces (covering all services and service personnel), organising the annual club military day, Local, National & International fan requests, the Leeds United Lottery days, Player Appearances, ‘Leeds on the Road’, ‘Lorimer’s Bars’, history and archive research/knowledge, match day duties, his much-loved match day stadium tours and his charity work (which included being part of raising £210,000 for the Melanoma Fund), hospital and school visits, and anything and everything else, it all meant the absolute world to him. In return, he was devoted to using his role to make a positive difference to anyone and everyone, and to as many people and causes as he could, as well as to the club.  This has been recognised in various ways over the years with awards that include the Football League’s ‘Club Heroes’ Award for Leeds United (2015), the club’s own ‘Bobby Collins Award’ (2018), Patron of Real Leeds Malta (2019) and the LUSCOS Appreciation Award (2023) - more recently, he was honoured to be asked to take up the roles of Honorary President of the TV Harrison Campaign and Honorary Vice-President of the Leeds United Supporters Network.  His passion for the club and the Leeds United family around it remain unshakeable and he is proud to have been a Leeds United Club Ambassador since 2024.
